Varsity Football Beats Gilman 38-0 in Season Opener

Gonzaga Football opened its season on Saturday, August 26 with a resounding 38-0 win over Gilman in Baltimore. Head Coach Randy Trivers credited Gonzaga’s strong defense—which forced six turnovers—with the victory. “Had we not been able to play that strong defense early on and capitalize on those opportunities, it would have been a different result,” Coach Trivers told Maryland Sports Access.  Click here to read a full recap of the game.

In Loving Memory – Coach Charlie Baumgardner

  We're deeply saddened to inform you of the untimely death of Charlie Baumgardner, who was a beloved Gonzaga coach, dad and volunteer.  He was an irreplaceable presence -- as a mentor to his fellow coaches, a treasured friend to fellow parents, and most importantly a constant father-figure to the boys. Game 7 – vs DeMatha (2016)

This will be Game 7 for the Eagles and will also be a big part of the 2016 Reunion weekend for 9 alumni classes: '71, '76, '81, '86, '91, '96, '01, '06, and '11.  DeMatha is ranked #1 in the area and Gonzaga sits at #4.  The atmosphere on Eye Street will be electric and the new campus will be filled to capacity for the momentous WCAC clash. 2019 Welcome Meeting

April 10, 2015 marked the beginning of a great future for the Class of 2019 Football Eagles Family!  Coach Trivers hosted about 50 families, filling them in on the goals and expectations of the program.  A tentative Spring, Summer, and Fall schedule was distributed.  Additionally, the families were treated to pizza, drinks, and a great highlight video set to "No Place I'd Rather Be"!  Lastly, Coach T answered questions and joined in on the fellowship
