The Eagles traveled to Leonardtown, MD for the first time in school history.  Gonzaga defeated the newest member of the WCAC, the St. Mary’s Ryken Knights (2-2, 0-1) by a score of 14-7 in a hard fought game.  The game was played on Sunday, October 4th at 4pm due to inclement weather.

“Our 5^th victory was hard earned as the Eagles traveled to Leonardtown, Maryland to face new WCAC foe St. Mary’s Ryken.  It was a low scoring affair with the Eagles prevailing 14-7.  Max Fisher ‘17 caught a touchdown pass from Sam Brown and Tyree Randolph ’17 had another big day on the ground rushing for nearly 200 yards.  The defense was dominant with Nick McEvoy ’16 recording 2 sacks and a fumble recovery, Joe Zuccari ’17 had interception and a fumble recovery, Nasheed Bridgeman ’16 had a fumble recovery and Luke McCaleb ’16 had an interception.” – Coach T
